  1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the website operated by Finesse Blinds & Installations and to enquiries, quotations, appointments, orders, installations, and related services provided to customers in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use this website or proceed with our services.

  1. About our business

Finesse Blinds & Installations supplies and installs made-to-measure blinds and related products for residential and commercial customers.

Our services may include, without limitation, Perfect-Fit Pleated Blinds, Perfect-Fit Roller Blinds, Perfect-Fit Day & Night Blinds, Free-Hanging Roller Blinds, Venetian Blinds, Vertical Blinds, Roman Blinds, Mosquito Screens, measuring services, quotations, and installation services.

  1. Website use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not use the website in any way that breaches applicable law, is fraudulent, harmful, or interferes with the operation, security, or availability of the website.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, forms, integrations, or connected systems.

We may suspend, restrict, or withdraw access to the website at any time where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, operational reasons, or misuse.

  1. Quotes and enquiries

Any quotation, estimate, or pricing information provided through the website, by telephone, by email, by WhatsApp, or during a visit is subject to confirmation.

Quotes are usually based on the information available at the time, including measurements, product choice, fitting requirements, and site conditions. If those details change, the final price may also change.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, a quote does not create a binding contract until we confirm acceptance of the order.

No obligation quotes are offered on the basis set out in the quotation process, but we reserve the right to decline work at our discretion.

  1. Measurements and customer information

Where we carry out measuring, we will take reasonable care to ensure accuracy. Where measurements, specifications, access details, or installation requirements are provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the information supplied is complete and accurate.

You must tell us about anything that may affect installation, including access limitations, unusual window frames, obstructions, electrical fittings, structural issues, damp, or any other condition that may affect safe or proper fitting.

We are not responsible for delays, additional costs, or unsuccessful installation arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

  1. Orders and acceptance

An order is accepted when we confirm it with you, whether by email, message, invoice, or other written confirmation.

Once an order for made-to-measure or bespoke products has been accepted, cancellation or changes may not be possible, or may incur charges, because materials may already have been ordered or production may already have begun.

Any delivery dates, fitting dates, or lead times are estimates unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

  1. Pricing and payment

Prices will be confirmed as part of the quotation and order process.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms will be set out on the quote, invoice, or order confirmation. We may require a deposit before ordering materials or scheduling installation.

Full payment may be due immediately upon completion of installation unless different terms have been agreed in writing.

If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to charge reasonable recovery costs and interest where permitted by law, and to suspend further work or warranty support until payment is made.

  1. Delivery and installation

We will use reasonable efforts to deliver and install within the timescales discussed with you, but delays can occur due to supplier issues, product availability, weather, access problems, illness, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, and that the work area is suitable for installation.

We may reschedule appointments where necessary.

  1. Product appearance and specification

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, colours, finishes, fabrics, and images shown on the website or in promotional material are as accurate as possible. However, images are illustrative only.

Colours, textures, and finishes may vary slightly due to screen settings, supplier batches, lighting, or manufacturing tolerances.

Minor variations that do not materially affect the overall function or quality of the product will not be treated as defects.

  1. Warranty

We offer a 24-month warranty as stated in our sales materials, subject to the terms of that warranty.

The warranty applies to defects in workmanship or product performance arising under normal use, but does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, unauthorised alteration, improper cleaning, damage caused by third parties, or damage caused by structural or environmental conditions outside our control.

Any warranty claim must be notified to us promptly with reasonable detail and, where requested, photographs or access for inspection.

This warranty is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable law.

  1. Customer responsibilities

You agree to:
provide accurate information during enquiry, quotation, and ordering;
give us reasonable access to the property for measuring and fitting;
ensure the area is safe and clear for installation;
check products and installation on completion and tell us promptly if there is a problem;
use the products in accordance with any care or operating instructions provided.

  1. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must generally be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and statutory rights may apply in relation to goods and services supplied under consumer contracts.

Where you are a consumer, these Terms will be read subject to your legal rights, and any term that cannot lawfully be enforced against a consumer will not apply to that extent.

  1. Complaints and defects

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, or believe there is a fault with a product or installation, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details above.

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange an inspection, repair, replacement, or other reasonable remedy depending on the circumstances.

We ask that complaints are raised promptly so that matters can be investigated fairly and efficiently.

  1. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the paragraph above, we will not be liable for:
any indirect or consequential loss;
loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, or anticipated savings;
delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control;
minor variations in colour, texture, or finish that are consistent with normal manufacturing tolerances;
loss arising from inaccurate information supplied by the customer or site conditions that were not disclosed to us.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order or service will, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant goods or services giving rise to the claim.

  1. Website availability

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

We may update, change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website without notice.

  1. Privacy and data protection

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the website or contacting us, you acknowledge that we may process your personal data in accordance with that Privacy Policy.

  1. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
